No teaching activities in presence are planned for the five campuses of Università Cattolica even in the so-called Phase 2 of the Covid-19 emergency until 31 July, 2020.

As the rectors of the Lombard Universities assure, "the objective is to ensure the conclusion of the academic semester with safety, regularity and continuity and to plan the new academic year with the same standards, confirming that whatever teaching method will be adopted, the Universities will be ready to welcome their students, especially the new ones, in classrooms, laboratories and research hospitals".

Therefore, until the end of the second semester, lectures and seminars, exams and graduation sessions as well as doctoral theses will continue remotely. Thanks to the #eCatt plan, the series of initiatives and digital tools with which Università Cattolica intends to continue to provide all students with the opportunity to pursue their studies, the activities aimed at training and evaluating students (including specialising master programmes and advanced courses) will be conducted in remote mode.
All detailed information on the conduct of the final exams and course exams can be found on the Unicatt website here.

In particular, the exams will continue to be held remotely and any specific modalities will be communicated by the Dean, for the entire faculty, or by the professors, for each exam session. Unless otherwise stated, the academic calendars are confirmed, and the reception of students will continue to take place remotely.

Our libraries are available by appointment only for the return and pick-up of books for lending. For details, you can consult the dedicated page of the libraries of the different campuses in Milan, Brescia, Piacenza-Cremona and Rome

We also remind you that, in order to "navigate" through the library's electronic resources, often organized in large quantities within complex publishing platforms, we have chosen to use LibGuides, the most widespread online information tool in the world among academic libraries and scientific publishers. In this way, students at Università Cattolica will have at their disposal user-friendly instructions, enriched with video tutorials.

Other fundamental services, such as Student Services, libraries, internships and placement, orientation, international area, post-graduate activities, will continue to be guaranteed remotely, except for unavoidable needs that require physical presence, to be managed exclusively by appointment. All these resources, largely made available within #eCatt and thanks to various platforms, make it possible to continue studying in absolute confidence and to safely attend the University, its laboratories, its hospital (for the Rome office), continuing to enjoy the great cultural and professional attractiveness of the University and its high potential to enter the labour market.

In view of a future and progressive return to frontal classroom activities, as soon as possible, Università Cattolica has created an Education fund to support studies, named after its founder Agostino Gemelli, a concrete tool for students who, together with their families, have been affected by the economic consequences of this  epidemic caused by the Coronavirus. When, at the time of reconstruction, the training of young people will be essential to give new impetus to our society and our economy, the "Agostino Gemelli" fund for the support of students over the health emergency will immediately offer support to those who find themselves in difficulty by providing, on the basis of specific assessments, economic measures designed to meet the costs of enrollment in university courses. An investment in the talent and skills of young people to get the country moving forward again.
